Published vs. draft

Updated March 20, 2026

A draft is content that's still in progress. It's visible to you inside the editor, but visitors to your live site won't see it. Published content, on the other hand, is publicly accessible.

Even if a page looks finished in the editor, it won't appear on your site until you actually publish it. Before flipping that switch, give the page a final review: check the title, links, images, typos, and how it looks on mobile. If you're working with a team, splitting draft review and publish permissions between members is a good way to catch mistakes before they go live.
