Set up links, and add your favorite social media icons on your blog. Our themes made this easier than any other theme platforms! No HTML set-up, coding, or font installation is required. Before jumping to this instruction, we highly recommend that you take a look at our where's my Tumblr customize page? article if you are not familiar with customizing your theme.
Custom link options
You are halfway to go if you are on your customize page. Now, scroll down in your 'option panel' to the very bottom, and locate 'Custom link' options. On some themes, these options are not available. If you happen to have this theme, you may need to create a redirect page with your Tumblr custom page.
Enter a full URL
If the link you set up redirects to the 'Not found' page, you've skipped a very important procedure. A URL without a protocol such as http:// or https:// is not a full URL. So your link should be http://example.com or https://example.com, not just example.com. The same goes to the social media link. Always enter a full URL.
